Pago "Los Vivales" presents its new creation on the upcoming Salón de Gourmets

On the upcoming Salón de Gourmets (7-10 of May) Pago "Los Vivales", will present in society its brand new creation. Its new Pata de Mulo Cheese.
This cheese is a traditional cheese from the Tierra del Pan region (Castilla y León), made using only un-pasteurized sheep milk. It's particular name comes from the resemblance it has on the donkeys' legs and its characteristical shape comes from rolling it on tables when made to take the water away from it.
With this cheese, one more time, Pago "Los Vivales" tries to bind the best of tradition and the best of technique to create its cheese. This fact, and the use of its own animals, makes its cheese so special an unique.

Alimentaria is the leading trade show for food, drinks and gastronomy in both Spain and the Mediterranean Arc, and an international benchmark for the industry.
We will be glad of hosting you at our booth, on the diary pavilion (Pav. 4) Stand D432. Moreover, if you would be needing information to reach the show and/or an invitation just ask us. We will be more than happy to be in handy.

Pago "Los Vivales" artisan Cheese achieved the seal Heart of Spain that certifies our cheese as a Spanish Deli product. This seal is the mention that "Tierra de Sabor" has created to support the food deli products from Castilla y León in their exportations. Only the best among the best food products from Castilla y León are distinguished by this seal, which makes us very proud of this fact.

international Best Cheese awards and the recognition
as the Best Livestock Farming of Castilla y León.

Pago "Los Vivales" Cheese ends 2017 with up to 9 international Best Cheese awards and the recognition as the Best Livestock Farming of Castilla y León.

This 2017 has been a year of great success for Pago "Los Vivales" Artisan Cheese, being rewarded by up to 9 Best Cheese international awards. Moreover, on top of that, Pago "Los Vivales" achieved the distinction of the Best Livetock Farming of its region, Castilla y León.

At the Global Cheese Awards 2017, Pago "Los Vivales" - Black Label got a strike, being awarded in every category it showed. This cheese got two different Gold Medals ("Best hard-pressed sheep cheese" and "Best Continental Hard-Pressed Cheese") and two Silver Medals ("Best artisan Cheese 100% sheep cheese" and "Best Spanish Cheese"). Furthermore, it was also selected as the Best Continental Cheese of the contest.

Few weeks later, at the World Cheese Awards 2017-18, (considered the most important Cheese contest on the world), Pago "Los Vivales" achieved up to 4 different distinctions, including: four gold medals, one silver medal and one bronze medal. The Black Label and the Silver Label cheeses were both rewarded by a Gold Medal, the Burgundy Label Cheese by a Silver Medal and the Green Label by a bronze medal.

Likewise, the responsible company of Pago "Los Vivales" artisan Cheese, Baltasar Moralejo e Hijos S.R.L., obtained the II Premio Surcos to the Best Livestock Farming of Castilla y León (Spanish Region of origin), showing up the importance that its own sheep have on its cheese elaboration. That is because Pago "Los Vivales" only uses the un-pasteurized milk coming from their own sheep to make cheese.

Our Cheese Pago "Los Vivales" achieved up to 4 different distinction in the World Cheese Awards 2017-18 of London

We are very proud of announcing you that, few days ago, our Cheese Pago "Los Vivales" achieved up to 4 different distinction in the World Cheese Awards 2017-18 of London, the world's most important cheese contest.
Specifically, both our Black Label cheese (Curado) and Silver Label cheese (Gran Reserva) have gotten two gold medals, whilst our Burgundy Label cheese (Reserva) has achieved a silver medal and our Green Label cheese (Semicurado) has achieved a bronze medal.
Therefore we want to thank you, because it is thanks to you that we keep growing day by day, reaching more and more people and doing what we enjoy that is making our artisan cheese.
